What happens if we need to reschedule our session?

For weather related rescheduling, At the time of booking, we’ll select a tentative backup date just in case. If the forecast shifts, we’ll adjust as needed and make the call together.

Light rain or overcast skies don’t always mean rescheduling sometimes those conditions create beautifully moody, cinematic images. If that’s the direction you’re open to, we can absolutely lean into it.

For rescheduling due to personal reasons, Life happens. One complimentary reschedule is included with every session, as long as notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.

Any additional changes beyond that are subject to a $100 rescheduling fee, with a maximum of two total reschedules per booking.

What’s required to officially reserve our date?

To officially secure your date, the following are required:

• A signed contract

• A 50% non-refundable retainer, due within 7 business days of signing

Once both are completed, your date is formally reserved and removed from my calendar.

The remaining balance is due prior to the session or event date, as outlined in your agreement.

Is your editing style consistent across all sessions?

My editing has a strong foundation, but it’s never robotic.

• I’m drawn to true-to-life color, depth, and contrast that feels natural but refined.

• Every session carries its own atmosphere — lighting, location, season, wardrobe, and even the energy in the room all shape how your final images come together.

• I adjust intentionally to honor those elements, while still keeping the overall feel cohesive and elevated.

I’m always open to understanding what you’re drawn to visually. If you have inspiration, I want to see it. That helps me understand your vision.

At the same time, you’re trusting me for my eye — how I read light, emotion, and composition in the moment. That balance between consistency and responsiveness is what makes each gallery feel personal, not preset.

Will we have rights to download and print our images?

Yes.

• All final delivered images include personal printing rights.

• Images may not be altered, resold, or used commercially without written permission.

• Business usage requires licensing (see below).

Is a contract included with booking?

Yes — every session and wedding is secured with a signed agreement.

• Once signed, you’ll receive a copy for your records.

• This ensures your date is protected and that we’re both aligned before moving forward.

How early should we reach out to secure our date?

The earlier, the better especially for weddings and peak seasons.

• Weddings: Booking several months in advance is recommended to ensure availability.

• Portrait Sessions: A few weeks’ notice is typically ideal.

• Branding / Business: Timelines vary depending on scope and planning needs.

That said, if your timeline is flexible or your date is coming up soon, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to check availability and see what’s possible.

How does image selection work for sessions?

Image delivery varies slightly depending on the type of session.

Portrait & Standard Sessions: After your session, I carefully edit and curate a larger gallery of the strongest images. Your package includes a set number of downloads, and you’ll be able to choose your favorites from the full edited gallery. If you fall in love with more than what’s included, additional images or full-gallery upgrades are available.

Mini Sessions: Mini sessions include a curated gallery to view, with a predetermined number of downloads included in your package. You’ll select your favorite images from that gallery, with the option to purchase additional selections if desired.

Weddings: Wedding galleries are delivered in full. There is no download limit — you’ll receive all available edited images from your day, thoughtfully curated and professionally finished.

Branding, Business, & Real Estate: Commercial projects are delivered based on the agreed-upon scope of work. Final image count and usage rights are outlined prior to booking to ensure clarity and alignment with your needs.

No matter the session type, every delivered image is intentionally selected and edited to reflect the best moments from your time together.

Do you offer guidance on outfits that should be worn?

Absolutely styling plays a big role in how your images come together.

• I’m always happy to review outfit options beforehand and offer thoughtful recommendations.

• Whether you prefer neutral tones, coordinated palettes, or a more styled concept, we’ll shape it in a way that feels natural and true to you.

The goal isn’t perfection it’s cohesion, comfort, and confidence in what you’re wearing.

Are prints or albums available for purchase?

Yes your images deserve to live beyond a screen.

• A professional print shop is available directly through your online gallery, offering high-quality prints and wall pieces.

• Wedding albums are available as add-ons or included in select packages.

If you’re unsure what to order, I’m always happy to recommend print sizes, layout options, or album styles that best complement your images and space.

How are our images stored and protected?

Your images are handled with care from start to finish.

• All files are backed up on multiple drives during the editing process.

• Final galleries are delivered through a secure, password-protected platform.

• Completed galleries are archived for up to one year as part of your agreement.

After one year, long-term storage is not guaranteed, so I strongly recommend saving your final images in at least two separate locations such as an external hard drive and a trusted cloud service to ensure they remain protected.

USB drives are available upon request complimentary for weddings and available for $10 for all other sessions.

How long will our online gallery remain available?

Your online gallery will remain active for six months, giving you plenty of time to download your images, share with family and friends, and order prints.

If additional time is needed, extensions may be available upon request.

I always recommend downloading and backing up your images as soon as possible to ensure long-term access.

Can we request privacy for our images?

Your comfort and privacy matter.

Outside of family sessions, my agreement includes permission to use select images for portfolio and marketing purposes. This helps support and grow my work.

That said, if you prefer your images not be shared, you’re always welcome to make that request at or before booking. I’m more than willing to discuss your preferences and will do my best to honor them whenever possible.

Family sessions are handled with added care. Because children are involved, I fully respect any request not to use images of your kids for advertising or promotional use.

What happens if you’re unable to photograph our event?

In the rare event that I’m unable to photograph your session or wedding due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, I will make every effort to secure a trusted photographer with a similar style and professionalism.

If a replacement cannot be secured, all payments made (excluding non-recoverable expenses) will be refunded in full.

Your day matters and I take that responsibility seriously.

How many images will we receive?

The number of final images delivered depends on the package you select.

Each session or project includes a predetermined number of edited images, outlined clearly before booking so you know exactly what to expect.

If you’d like additional images beyond what’s included in your package, upgrades and individual image purchases are always available.

Every delivered image is intentionally selected and professionally edited so that quality and storytelling always come first.

Do you provide RAW files?

No:

• RAW files are not delivered, as they are unfinished files.

• Final edited images represent the complete vision and artistic standard of my work.

Can we request specific shots?

Absolutely your input matters.

You’re always welcome to share inspiration, meaningful details, or moments that are especially important to you. Knowing what resonates helps me understand your vision.

I approach every session with a storytelling mindset, so while I’ll honor meaningful requests, I focus on capturing moments as they naturally unfold rather than recreating exact poses.

If there’s something specific that matters to you, tell me. We’ll shape it in a way that feels real, not staged.

Do you offer payment plans?

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required at booking and contract signing to officially reserve your date.

The remaining balance is due:

• Weddings: No later than two weeks before your event date.

• Portrait Sessions: No later than one week before your session date.

If you prefer to make incremental payments leading up to the final due date, you’re welcome to do so. Any payments made in advance will be credited toward your remaining balance.

Full payment at booking is also always welcome.

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal.

Most people aren’t used to being photographed, and you don’t need to be. My role isn’t to make you perform — it’s to create an environment where you can simply be present.

I offer direction when it’s helpful and step back when it matters. We’ll move naturally, adjust as needed, and allow real moments to surface without forcing anything.

You don’t need to know what to do. You just need to show up I’ll handle the rest.

Do you scout locations before the session?

When possible, yes.

I research lighting, layout, and flow in advance so your session feels intentional and efficient.
